RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Christine H Makos to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Christine H Makos (nee Janos) WWII Army Air Corps Veteran, age 91, born in Barton, Ohio, resided in Chicago since 1950. Beloved wife ofthe late Mitchell; Loving mother of Mitchell Jr. (Dawn), Stefanie (Thomas) Teeling and Richard (Sandra Lewan); Devoted grandmother of Jennifer "Whispering Wind Bear Spirit", Richard J. and Scott Makos, Thomas IV and Clare Teeling; Dear sister of Anne Melnick; Former mother-in-law of Jennifer Aldridge. Christine H Makos leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe Chicago City Council gathered here this eighth day of May, 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Christine H Makos and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family Christine H Makos.
