RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Richard J. Murguia III has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at Ihe age of 49 to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Gouncil has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Aldennan of the 11 th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Richard J. Murguia III, Devoted Son of Lorraine and the late Richard Murguia II; dear brother of Camillc (Gustavo) Carapia; fond uncle of Dina Patcrimos Mcza and Matthew Meza.); and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Richard to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fourteenth of September 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Richard .1. Murguia III and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Richard J. Murguia III.
