MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR ANNA PRESTIGIACOMO
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of this Chamber learned of the death of Anna Prcstigiacomo on March 30, 2017 at the age of 82; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable
Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, born on August 20, 1934, Anna was the beloved wife of the late Gino; loving modier of Rosalie (Anthony) Montegna, Ben, and Catherine (Patrick) Dowd; devoted grandmother of Erica (Matthew) Podgorski, Philip and Marissa Montegna, Giuliana and Nicoletta Dowd; cherished great
grandmother of Sophia and Jack Podgorski; dear sister of Anthony j. (Astrid) Tantillo and treasured
friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Anna leaves a legacy of faith, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Anna touched die lives of all who knew her through her unconditional love and vivacious spirit. She will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this nineteeth day of April, 2017, do hereby extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Anna Prcstigiacomo; and
