RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Marie A. Cassidy has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 86 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Marie A. Cassidy hee Magurno, Loving wife ofthe late Patrick Cassidy; Daughter ofthe late Ethel (the late Joe) Fernandez and the Carmen (the late Lavcrne) Magurno; Loving mother of James (Retired CMDR CPD) (Antoinette) Carlo, Jackie (Joe) De Stefano, Karen (Bobby) Dorencz, Kevin (Elizabeth) Cassidy, Patty (Hurley) Wilbourne and Dennis Cassidy (Gloria); dear sister of Roseanne Bonoma, the late Carrie Andriacchi, and the late Lillian Baffa; fond sister-in-law of Mary Stcinbach, Kay O'Brien, Peter Cassidy, and the late Betty Mclnerney; Proud Nana of many grandchildren and great grandchildren; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews; cousin and friend to many; and
WHEREAS, Marie loved St. Jude, her dogs, birds and all the outdoor animals that lived on her block; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Marie to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this fourteenth of October 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Marie A. Cassidy and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
