CONGRATULATIONS EXTENDED TO FRANCINE FRIEDMAN, CFRE, FRANCINE FRIEDMAN ASSOCIATES, LLC ON RECEIVING THE BENJAMIN FRANKLIN AWARD FROM THE ASSOCIATION OF FUNDRAISING PROFESSIONALS, CHICAGO
CHAPTER.
WHEREAS, Francine Friedman, CFRE, Francine Friedman Associates, LLC, has received the Benjamin Franklin Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Chicago Chapter; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this significant occasion by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Francine Friedman, was an English and Journalism teacher at a Chicago Public High School before entering the development profession, becoming coordinator of volunteers at Children's Home and Aid, where six months later she became the agency's Director of Development; and
WHEREAS, Francine Friedman, a strong believer that fundraising and public awareness go hand-in-hand, went on to serve as Director of Development and Public Affairs at Lambs Farm, successfully leading two capital campaigns to build a recreational facility and a retirement residence, resulting in a segment on ABC-TV's 20/20, putting Lambs Farms on the national map; and
WHEREAS, Francine Friedman, exceeded all fundraising goals, established planned giving and grateful patients programs, created a quarterly newsletter, and served as first Executive Director of Highland Park Hospital's Foundation; and
WHEREAS, Francine Friedman, launched her consulting firm, Francine Friedman Associates, LLC, in 2006, providing fundraising and communications counsel to a wide variety of institutions; and
WHEREAS, Francine Friedman, as a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, has co-chaired and volunteered for a variety of programs; and
WHEREAS, Francine Friedman, founder of Women in Development/North, is a member of various associations, is an award-winning author, and as a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Chicago Chapter, is valued as...
