City Council September 9th, 2020
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Donald Edward Bedorc has; been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 84 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Donald's memory will be cherished by his beloved wife, Ellen (nee Carmody); his loving children Ryan, Leslie and Lauren (Matthew) Gizyn; his adored grandson Evan Gizyn; brother Eugene (Sharon) Bedore, sister Mary (Scott) Herrick and brother Joseph (Lenora) Bedorc; He's a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Catherine Bedore; brothers Raymond (the late Maureen) Bedore, Fredrick (the late Dorothy) Bedore and sister Joan (the late John) Bedalow; and
WHEREAS, Donald was born and raised in the Bridgeport neighborhood and a member of Hamburg Club, He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Donald to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this ninth of September 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Donald Edward Bedore and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
