RESOLUTION

2019 JAN-9 .Mills 00

WHEREAS, Edward Robert Crumpley has been called to eternal life by the

wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Edward Robert Crumpley; Devoted father of Robert, Ashley, and Michael. Loving stepfather of late Thomas, Victoria (Robert), and Stephanie. Former husband of late Elizabeth and partner of late Rosie. Loving grandfather of Amanda, Kelly, Samantha, Alexander, Robert Jr., and Nikolai. Great grandfather of Adyson; and

WHEREAS, Edward Robert Crumpley was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Edward Robert Crumpley to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-third of January 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Edward Robert Crumpley and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Patrick D. Thompson Alderman, 11^th Ward

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Edward Robert Crumpley.
