Ladies and Gentlemen:
At the request of the Commissioner of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Commissioner of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, I transmit herewith, together with Alderman Reilly, an ordinance amending the Municipal Code to add two new outdoor cafes with liquor licenses at Millennium Park.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Section 4-60-010 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by deleting the language struck through, and by inserting the language underscored, as follows:
4-60-010 Definitions.
Whenever the following words and phrases are used in this chapter, they shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section:

"LakefrontVenue license" means a license issued for the sale at retail of alcoholic liquor at a location approved by the Chicago Park District other than exclusively within an enclosed, permanent structure having a tavern license or consumption on premises -incidental activity license.

SECTION 2. Section 4-60-073 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by deleting the language struck through, and by inserting the language underscored, as follows:
4-60-073 Lakefront Venue liquor licenses - Special conditions.
In addition to the other categories of licenses authorized underthis chapter, the local liquor control commissioner may issue consumption on premises -incidental activity licenses authorizing the sale or service of alcoholic liquor at Lakefront Venues in accordance with this section. Such consumption on premises - incidental activity license shall be known as a Lakefront Venue liquor license,...
