City Council January 27th, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Deborah "Debbie" LaPlaca has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 65 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Deborah "Debbie" LaPlaca nee Darby; loving mother of Frank (Aubrey), John (Bethany), Carolyn, Lisa Marie, Andrew and the late Ruth; cherished grandmother of 9; devoted daughter of the late Glen and late Ruth Darby; dear sister of Lisa Howard, Glen Darby, Kenneth Darby, late Barbara Darby and the late John Darby; fond aunt of many; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Deborah to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty seventh of January 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Deborah and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Deborah LaPlaca.
