RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Thomas J. Ferro has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Thomas J. Ferro U.S. Army Veteran; beloved husband of Linda (nee Fritz); loving father of Tracy (Jeffrey) Terrana, Melissa (Mark) Miller and Lindsey (Joe) Recchia; cherished grandfather and best friend of Anthony Miller, Alexis Terrana and Sophia Miller; devoted son of the late Virginia and Joseph Ferro; dear brother of Carol (Ron) Arnashus, Virginia (late Frank) Vulich, Linda (late William) Crot, Richard (Janice) and Robert (Theresa); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and Best Friend of William Gioia; and

WHEREAS, Thomas J. Ferro was a retired City of Chicago employee, General Foreman, Hoisting Engineers Local 150; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Thomas J. Ferro to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twelfth day of December 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Thomas J. Ferro and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Thomas J. Ferro.
