Memorial Resolution Gloria Jean Levi
Whereas, God in His Infinite Wisdom has called Gloria Jean Levi, most beloved citizen, to her eternal reward on November 20, 2015; and
Whereas, The City Council has been informed of her passing by The Honorable Derrick G. Curtis, Alderman ofthe 18th Ward; and
Whereas, Gloria Jean Levi leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory, her beautiful daughter, Nitika; adored grandsons, Neko and Narell; cherished great grandchildren, Chemar and Mara, and a host of family and friends; and
Whereas, Gloria Jean Levi treasured spending time with her family and enjoyed shopping. She leaves a legacy of faith, dignity and love; and
Whereas, Gloria Jean Levi, an active and vital member of her community, was a longtime volunteer with the Aurbum Gresham Community Development since 1999 and a valued volunteer for the 18th Ward for many years; and
Whereas, Gloria Jean Levi will be deeply missed by all and especially by those - who shared her warmth and compassion. She touched the lives of all who knew her through her energy, kindness, generosity, and her spirit; now, therefore
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council ofthe City of Chicago, gathered here this ninth day of December, 2015, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Gloria Jean Levi and express to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Be It Further Resolved, that a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Gloria Jean Levi as a token of our honor, gratitude and respect.
