RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Gregory A. Golab to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Gregory A. Golab, 48, August 22, 2015, lifetime resident of the southwest side of Chicago, of Garfield Ridge neighborhood. Devoted father of Matthew Golab; beloved son of Carol M. Golab (nee Drost), and Ronald Golab; former husband and dear friend of Chris Garza. Employee of the Illinois State Tollway for the last dozen years.

WHERAS, Gregory A. Golab leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-third day of January, 2019, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Gregory A. Golab and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
