MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Russell C. Klein, born on June 9,1930, was called by God to his eternal reward on January 19, 2011; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Russell C. Klein, was an active and vital member of his community. The beloved husband of llene (nee Marks); father of Stefani Lynn Ochab; devoted step-father to Karen Fantozzi, nee Kabaker (Jeffrey) and Wendy Kabaker Arnold (Warren); proud grandfather of Hailey, Amy and Peter Fantozzi; brother of the late Donald Klein; fond brother-in-law of Stanford and Doris Marks, Marc and Barbara Reiss; Russell C. Klein leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Russell C. Klein will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this sixth day of July 2011, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Russell C. Klein and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Russell C. Klein.
