RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Margarita Hurtado has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Margarita Hurtado; beloved wife of Arturo, loving mother of Maria Isabel (Roberto) Mesarina, Margarita Griselda, Jorge Arturo, America, and Lilia (John) Medina; beloved daughter of the late Vicente and Maria Concepcion Morales; fond grandmother of Robert, Brandon, Cristian, Gabriel, Raven, Ethan, Kaylen, Justin, Leah, and Madison; great grandmother of Valeria, Isaiah and Owen; dear sister of Ruben, Jesus, Vicente, Armando, Maria Concepcion, the late Humberto, Leticia, Marivel, Jaime and Omar; fond aunt, sister in law and dear friend of many; and

WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Margarita to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fifteenth of December 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Margarita Hurtado and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
