RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Grazia Zaffarano has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 80 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Grazia Zaffarano nee Canino; beloved wife of the late Graziano; loving mother of Vincenzo (Stavroula) Zaffarano and the late Angela Cooke; cherished grandmother of Eddie (Kaitlyn), Kelly (Josh), Giovanna and Christina; devoted daughter of the late Palmerino and the late Caterina Canino; dear sister of Theresa (James) Appleby, Rosa (Luigino) Sinisclchi, Anna Marie (late Rosario) Paonessa, Sara Canino, Frank (Janice) Canino, Rita Giglio, Luciana Canino and the late Gaetano Canino; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Grazia to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fifteenth of December 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Grazia Zaffarano and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Grazia Zaffarano.
