RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called John J. Sammon, Jr. to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, John J. Sammon, Jr., age 57. Beloved husband of Elizabeth M. Sammon (nee Sulk). Loving son ofthe late John J. Sammon Sr. and Joan M. Kishkunas (nee Guerin). Dear brother of Mary Sammon and Joan (the late David) Puffer. Adored nephew of many aunts and uncles. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Proud papa of his four-legged best friend Barney; and
WHEREAS, John J. Sammon, Jr. leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-second day of July, 2020, hereby express our sorrow on the death of John J. Sammon, Jr. and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of John J. Sammon, Jr.
