City Council March 18th, 2020
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Dominic J. Barbara has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Husband ofthe late Darlene (Ray); loving father of Francesco "Cheech" (Gretchen), and Vincenzo "Vincent" (Erin) Barbara; beloved son of the late Frank and Catherine (Bertucci) Barbara; fond grandfather of Teressa and Francesca "Frankie"; dear brother of Rosetta (the late Charles) Palumbo, Marianne (Joseph) Cibulka, and Frank Barbara Jr.; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Dominic to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this eighteenth of March 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Dominic J. Barbara and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
