RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Ruth E. Egan to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Ruth E. Egan, nee Kraus; Devoted wife of Michael (Ret. CFD); Loving mother of Michael (Kris), Mark (CFD) (Tania), Daniel (Diane), and Dina; Dearest grandmother of Alexandria, Michael, Kylie, Paige, Joseph, Thomas, Maeve, Emily, Daniel, Elizabeth and James; Great-grandma of Vincent; Cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Kraus; Dear sister of Jack (Sandra) Kraus and Susan (Dennis) Maturo; Fond sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, godmother and friend to many; Proud union member of Dominick's; Active member of Queen ofthe Universe and Queen of Martyrs Parishes. Ruth E. Egan leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-ninth day of September, 2015, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Ruth E. Egan and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Ruth E. Egan.
