Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to WEST LOOP ASSOCIATES LLC, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, two (2) Facade(s) projecting over the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 550 W. Jackson Blvd
Said Facade(s) at S. Clinton Street measure(s):
One (1) at fifty-six (56) feet in length, and eight (8) feet in width for a total of four hundred forty-eight (448) square feet. Existing facade is an open air ornamental grid trellis approximately two hundred forty-eight (248) feet in height.
Said Facade(s) at W. Quincy Street measure(s):
One (1) at two hundred sixty-four (264) feet in length, and nine (9) feet in width for a total of two thousand three hundred seventy-six (2376) square feet. Existing facade curtain wall projection serve as the exterior fagade for the 2nd through 12th floors. Existing curtain wall must exist within the public way because the original building was built to the property lot line.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of PJanning and Development and Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1116123 herein granted the sum of eight thousand three hundred thirty-six ($8,336.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
