BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO: '
SECTION I. Title 17 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, is hereby
amended by changing the M3-3 Heavy Industry District symbols and indications as shown on Map No. 5-G in the area bounded by
A line 98.7 feet southwesterly and parallel to West Homer Street; North Mendell Street; A line 200.25 feet southwesterly and parallel to West Homer Street; the alley next westerly and parallel to North Mendell
Street
to those of a C3-3 Commercial, Manufacturing and Employment District
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and due publication.

The Applicant seeks to rezone from M3-3 Heavy Industry District to a C3-3 Commercial, Manufacturing and Employment District
The Applicant seeks to adaptively reuse the existing 4-story building and construct a one-story addition over the surface parking lot and add a new sidewalk along the front property line. The Applicant seeks to utilize the first and second floors of the building with a day care use. The third and fourth floors will contain general office uses. The property is a TSL due to its proximity to the Clybourn Metra Station. No parking is required or will be provided. The height of the building will remain existing at 47' 1.11 /2 " to the roof.
