RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Michael Campos has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Beloved son of the late Oligario and Estelle Campos; loving grandson of Maria L. Campos; partner for life to Jamye Serritella; dear brother of Theresa (Chris) Espinosa, Patty Campos (Anthony); Estelle (Manny) Ybarra, and Tony (Jennifer) Campos; loving father figure to Samy, Johnny, and Joey Bednarik; proud papa of Antonio: Bednarik; fond uncle of Taylor Dickman, Norah, Matthew, Gabriel, and Paul Ybarra, Jared, Alex, and Julia Espinosa; dear nephew, cousin, and loyal friend of many; crazy dog dad to Bluto, Rocco, and Cujo. Lifelong White Sox fan and fan of anyone playing the Cubs. Devoted to law enforcement and always the funniest guy in the room. Member of the NRA; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Michael Campos to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-six of January 2022, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Michael and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michael.
