RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Rose C. Stronczek turns 100-years-old on the 18th day of January 2023; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this occasion by Alderman Nicole Lee ofthe 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Rose was born in Chicago, Illinois and has lived in Bridgeport her entire life; and

WHEREAS, Rose has been a life-long, loyal congregant of St. Barbara Catholic Church; and

WHEREAS, Rose married Frederick Stronczek on May 7,1950; and

WHEREAS, Rose has lived at her current home, at 2854 S Throop since 1980; and

WHEREAS, Rose has been a beloved neighbor for decades; and

WHEREAS, Rose is a loving aunt to countless nephews and nieces; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this 18th day of January, 2023, do hereby honor the accomplishments and longevity of Rose C. Stronczek and extend our heartfelt congratulations to her on her 100^th birthday; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED', that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Rose C. Stronczek as a symbol of our esteem.
