MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR ANN D. PETSCHAUER

WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of this Chamber learned of the death of Ann D. Petschauer at the age of 89; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Born on July 26, 1928, Ann (nee Antol) was the beloved wife for 62 years of Louis A. Petschauer; loving mother of Darlene A. Petschauer; dearest aunt of Gail Burkett; survived by Theresa Gruzalski, Sandra Murtogul, and Joe and Dianna Mitria and treasured friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her; and

WHEREAS, Ann touched the lives of all who knew her through her kindness, compassion and spirit. She will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this seventeenth day of January, 2018, do hereby extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Ann D. Petschauer; and

MARGARET LAURINO Alderman, 39* Ward

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be presented to the family of Ann D. Petschauer as a sign of our honor, gratitude, and respect.
