City Council September 9th, 2020
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Ricardo "Rick" Lopez has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 52 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Ricardo "Rick" Lopez, he was born in Mexico to Ramona and the late Rosendo Lopez;and is the loving husband of Patricia (nee Medina); father of Ricardo Steven (Olivia), Martina (Casey), and Ashlee; brother of Luis (Cynthia), Eduardo (Anna), and Rosendo (Teresa); son-in-law of Linda Aquino; uncle; and friend of many; and
WHEREAS, Rick was a die hard Cubs and Bears fan, He especially loved futbol, A grill master and ultimate handyman, Rick also played the piano and was a DJ. he worked at Chicago Metal Fabricators; and r
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Rick to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this ninth ofSeptember 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Ricardo Lopez and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
