RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Rose Daly to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Rose Daly, nee Godfrey, 89. Lifelong resident of Chicago's Southwest side. Dearly beloved wife of James W. Daly, Sr. Devoted and loving mother of Martin (Maureen) Daly, James W. (Eileen) Daly, Jr., Michael (Joan) Daly, John (Sheila) Daly, Timothy (Maureen) Daly, Mary Rose (William) Schillo, Sally Daly Hunt (Patrick) and the late Daniel Godfrey Daly. Cherished grandmother of Kathleen, Martin, James, Brendan, Elizabeth, Ryan, Kevin, Stephanie, Meghan, Daniel, Conor, Michael, Maggi, Katherine, Patrick, Brian, Daniel, Colleen, and James; fond great grandmother of 11. Dear sister of Mary Nillen, Eleanor Healy, and the late Josephine Rutshaw. Adored aunt and treasured friend of many. Rose Daly leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this eleventh day of September, 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Rose Daly and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Rose Daly.
