RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Cheo Wei Kung has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 90 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Cheo Wei Kung; beloved husband ofthe late Lai Pow Chu; loving father of Khinman K. (Raymond) Teng, Khinway (Malina) Kung, Khinsein Kung, Khinfong (Stella) Kung CPD and Kenneth K. Kung; cherished grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 5.; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Cheo Wei Kung to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-second of April 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Cheo Wei Kung and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of Cheo Wei Kung.
