RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Phillip P. Casello to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the d13th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Phillip P. Casello was a Navy Veteran of WWII, and a retired 30 year Chicago Police Department Patrolman. He was the beloved husband of Mildred, nee Otjepka; loving father of Charlotte (Joseph) Swiklinski and Phillip "Phillie Boy" CPD (Mary Jo); cherished grandfather of Joey and Phillip Swiklinski; fond brother of Marie Fidanzo; brother-in-law of Anne Otjepka and Betty Brown.; and a dear uncle of Renee Fidandzo and Anthony (Rose) Fidanzo; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-eighth day of July 2011, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Phillip P. Casello and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Phillip P. Casello.
