RESOLUTION

 

WHEREAS, Richard "Rick" A Naujokas has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 71 to his eternal reward; and

 

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and

 

WHEREAS, Richard A Naujokas was a lifetime resident of Bridgeport, U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, was the former Commander of Mark White VFW Post 6078, as well as a retired Pressman for the Chicago Tribune; and

 

WHEREAS, Richard A Naujokas beloved husband of Angel nee Sartorio; loving father of Cathy and the late Patrick Naujokas; cherished grandfather of Aaron (Heather) Naujokas; adored great-grandfather of Adam, Lani and Aiden Naujokas; devoted son of the late Charles and late Donna Naujokas; dear brother of Diane (Patrick) Schultz, Sherri (Greg) Yersich, Charles Naujokas Jr., Char (Jeff) Nettesheim and the late Sandra Sceerey; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and

 

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Richard to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

 

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this eighteenth of December 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Richard A Naujokas and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
