RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, William N. Weaver, Jr., has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of seventy-nine; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Edward M. Burke; and
WHEREAS, A resident of the Streeterville neighborhood, William N. Weaver, Jr., was a prominent member of the legal community and the loving husband of Frona Daskal; and
WHEREAS, William N. Weaver, Jr., was the much-adored father of Karin and William N. Ill, the stepfather of two, and the grandfather of ten to whom he imparted many of the fine and noble qualities that he possessed in abundance; and
WHEREAS, A native of New Orleans, William N. Weaver, Jr., graduated from Oberlin College and the John Marshall Law School; and
WHEREAS, William N. Weaver, Jr., enjoyed a forty-five-year career and served as a Senior Partner with the law firm of Sachnoff & Weaver; and
WHEREAS, William N. Weaver, Jr., specialized in representing and advising technology companies; and
WHEREAS, A trusted mentor to many young lawyers, William N. Weaver, Jr., retired in 2009; and
WHEREAS, William N. Weaver, Jr., served on the board of the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois for twelve years and was the Treasurer of the Disciples Divinity House at the University of Chicago; and
WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of William N. Weaver, Jr., serve as an example to all; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared William N. Weaver, Jr., to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; and
WHEREAS, William N. Weaver, Jr., will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives, friends and admirers; and
WHEREAS, To his beloved family, William N. Weaver, Jr., imparts a legacy of faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore
