MEMORIAL RESOLUTION CELEBRATING THE LIFE AND MEMORY OF JEROME BROWN SR.
WHEREAS, Jerome Brown, Sr. beloved member of the 16th Ward community, passed away on January 31, 2023; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Stephanie D. Coleman, Alderman of the 16th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Jerome was born August 3, 1955 and was 67 years young at the time of his passing; and
WHEREAS, The entire 16th Ward community honors and thanks Jerome for all of his contributions to our City and our community; and
WHEREAS, Jerome touched the lives of all who knew him, and his memory will live on as we cherish and love all he shared with us; and
WHEREAS, To Jerome's family and friends, we wish you peace, comfort, and encouragement in the days ahead, and hope that the outpouring of love for Jerome will provide some comfort in this difficult time; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this fifteenth of March, 2023, do hereby extend our most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Jerome Brown, Sr.; and
