MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Pamela A. Collier, nee Prist, to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of her passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Pamela A. Collier, a dedicated employee of St. James Hospital for 30 years and a member of Marian Catholic High School's first graduating class in 1962, was an active and vital memberof hercommunity. The loving mother of Morgan (Eric) Henington; dear sister of Monsignor Wayne Prist, Pastor Emeritus of Queen of All Saints Basilica, Chicago; beloved daughterof the late Mildred Rose, nee Radtke and Frank Prist; cherished, cousin; dear friend and co-worker of many, Pamela A. Collier leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Pamela A. Collier will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this fourth day of May, 2011, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Pamela A. Collier and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Pamela A. Collier.
