RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Evelyn M. Belohlavek to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Evelyn M. Belohlavek (nee Malina), beloved wife of the late James C. Sr.; loving mother of James C. Jr. (Mary Ann) and Sharon M. (James) Pepper; cherished grandmother of Joshua J. Pepper, Erica (Paul) Bollinger, Bill (Erin) Smith and April (Chris) Delaney; dear great-grandmother of Jacob Smith, Breanne Delaney, Kelsey Smith and Zachary Delaney; dearest sister of Dorothy (the late Chuck) Smid; fond aunt of Cindy, David and Mark Smid. Evelyn M. Belohlavek leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twelfth day of December, 2012, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Evelyn M. Belohlavek and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Evelyn M. Belohlavek.
