RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called James DeSomer to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Age 73. Passed away peacefully on January 31, 2013. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Cooper). Loving father of James, David and Julie (Jeff) Sims. Loving brother of Arthur, the late George, Marilyn Slamecka, Doreen Luebbers, Wayne and Candyce Angus. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Great friend to many. James DeSomer leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this thirteenth day of February, 2013, hereby express our sorrow on the death of James DeSomer and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the
