WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Roy A Miller to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Roy A Miller, the Greatest Dad Ever, Army Veteran, age 84. Beloved husband of the late Loretta, (nee Moriarity); loving father of Cathy Reich, Chris (Bruce) Polak, Angelo (Alanna) Marotta, Nino (Kathy) Marotta, Lori Torres, Mike (Chris) Marotta; Tom (Aveda) Marotta, Darlene Miller, Rob (Ann) Marotta, and the late Daryl Miller; cherished grandfather of 26 and great-grandfather of 16; fond brother of Harvey (Janet) Miller, Enos (Norma) Miller, Esther (Dick) Kuhn, Ida (the late Wayne) Walter, Mary (Paul) Miller, the late Joe (Joan) Miller and the late Pete (Marlene) Miller; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Roy A Miller leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this eleventh day of October, 2017, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Roy A Miller and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
