RESOLUTION

 

WHEREAS, Joseph Cambria has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and

 

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and

 

WHEREAS, Joseph Cambria, Beloved husband of 61 years to the late Mary (nee Kunstek); cherished father of Joseph (Pat) Retired CFD, John (Judy) Retired CFD, Jan (Fran Retired CFD) Donegan, Josephine Ryan, Jerry (Cindy) Retired CFD and Frank CFD (Ann Retired CFD) Cambria ; loving grandpa, great - grandpa and great - great - grandpa to many; proud grandfather of Anthony CFD and great grandfather of Josh CFD; loving papa to Gina Carrillo ( I'm on the air tap,tap,tap); and

 

WHEREAS, Joseph was a WWII Navy Veteran; member of 65 years to Local #2 CFD; Proud member ofthe Brotherhood of The Barrell and The Hamburg Club; and

 

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Joesph to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

 

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this seventeenth of June 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Joseph Cambria and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Joseph Cambria.
