RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called George Badke to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, George Badke was a beloved husband of Sandy (nee Fischer). Loving father of Brian (Amy), Kevin (Meghan), Claire (Tommy) Grady, and Lauren Badke. Cherished grandfather of Mickey, Bridget, Lizzie, Jack and Connor. Fond brother of Barbara (Tom) Trusk, Rita (Paul) McNally, John (Chris) Badke, and Joan (Ralph) McCausland. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Former teacher and football coach at St. Laurence High School, Fenwick High School and Brother Rice High School. George Badke leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-eighth day of June, 2017, hereby express our sorrow on the death of George Badke and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
