MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that members of this Chamber learned of the death of Norman F. Sirianni, on June 28, 2013, at the age of 82; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of her passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman ofthe 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, The beloved husband of Catherine to whom he was married for fifty-seven years; loving father of Frank (Linda), Beth (Fred) Paretta, Steve (Dawn), David (Donna) and Carol (Mark) Nesci; cherished grandfather of Tony, Stephanie, Olivia, Owen, Hailey, Maxwell, Catherine and Matthew; treasured brother of the late Frank, George, Florence and Tomasina; fond cousin, uncle, friend and colleague of many, Norman leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Norman was born on August 3, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Pasquale and Elizabeth Sirianni and passed away at Skokie North Shore Hospital with his beloved wife, five adoring children, devoted eldest grandson, caring niece and other beloved family members by his side; and
WHEREAS, Norman will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-fourth day of July 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Norman F. Sirianni and express to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
