RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Anthony F. Sorrentino has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Anthony F. Sorrentino, U.S. Army Veteran WWII, beloved husband of the late Rose; loving father of Anthony (Laverne) and Robert (Jackie) Sorrentino; cherished grandfather of Nicole Sorrentino, Michelle Rizdy, Robert, Jr. (Kim) and Kyle Sorrentino; devoted son of the late Anthony and Mary Sorrentino; dear brother of Theresa (late Earl) Esborn and the late Josephine (late Gus) Latsis; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, who he imparted many of the fine and noble qualities that he possessed in abundance; and

WHEREAS, Anthony F. Sorrentino will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore;

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this 23^rd day of May, 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Anthony F. Sorrentino and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be pre^nted
