MEMORIAL RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Guglielmina "Mina" Benigni to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of her passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Mina Benigni was an active and vital member of her community. The beloved daughter of the late Louis and Marianna; loving sister of Gloria (Dave) Sari; dearest aunt of Grace (George) Winograd, Louis (Kim) Sari, Anthony (Nancy) Sari, Marianne (Jeff) Fitch and Peter (Nita) Sari; cherished great-aunt of thirteen and great-great aunt of three, Mina Benigni leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and

WHEREAS, Mina Benigni will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,

Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this ninth day of February, 2011, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Mina Benigni and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Guglielmina "Mina" Benigni.
