RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Catherine Ann Sugrue has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 59 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Catherine Ann Sugrue (nee O'Connor), beloved wife of 35 years to John P. Sugrue, Passionate mother of Kerry (Dave) Penny, Johnny (Marina), Connor (Bridget), Wyatt, and Catie, Grandmother to Laila and many future children, Dear sister to Michael, Patrick, Robert, and Daniel O'Connor, Loving aunt and cousin to many and dedicated educator of countless children; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Catherine to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this eighteenth of December 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Catherine Ann Sugrue and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of Catherine Ann Sugrue.
