WEIGHT LIMITATIONS

 

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

 

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 72, Section 030 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Maximum Weight Permitted to be carried by any truck or commercial vehicle upon the following public ways between the limits indicated except for the purpose of delivering or picking up material or merchandise shall be as follows:

reads: South Hillock Street from South Lock Street to South Farrell Street; Weight Limitation 5 - Ton, by Striking: South Ferrell Street and Inserting: South Mary Street in lieu thereof [02017-2019]

 

 

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force here in after its passage and publication.

Your Committee on Pedestrian and Traffic Safety, to which were referred proposed ordinance(s) and/or order(s) to establish and/or amend allowable Weight Limits for trucks and commercial vehicles on portions of designated streets, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body DO PASS the proposed substitute ordinance(s) and/or order(s) submitted herewith.

 

This recommendation was concurred in by all members of the Committee present, with no dissenting votes.
