RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called John Howley to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, John Patrick Howley, U.S. Army - Signal Corp., age 77 of Hickory Hills passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Alt) of 50 years; loving father of Michael (Ronda) Howley and Kathy (Len) Peterson; cherished grandfather of Amanda, Erin, Tim, John, and Dan Peterson & Calen and Feona Howley; dearest brother of Mary (Robert) Kuehn; son of the late Michael and Ann Howley; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. John Howley leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this eighteenth day of November, 2015, hereby express our sorrow on the death of John Howley and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
