City Council June 17th, 2020

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Cecilio Flores has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11 th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Cecilio Flores, Beloved son of Esmeralda Flores and Basilio Gomez; loving father of Cecilio Flores Jr.; dear brother of Theodora Flores and the late Basilio Jr.; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Cecilio to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this seventeenth of June 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Cecilio Flores and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Cecilio Flores.
