CONGRATULATIONS EXTENDED TO LAURA MALCZEWSKI ON RETIREMENT AS A CASE MANAGER AT NORTHSIDE LEARNING CENTER.
WHEREAS, Laura Malczewski, is retiring as a Case Manager, from the Northside Learning Center; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this occasion by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Laura Malczewski, began her career by working as a Special Education Teacher in McHenry County, Illinois; and as a Certified Ophthamic Technician; and
WHEREAS, Laura Malczewski, has dedicated twenty years working for the Chicago Public Schools, working at O.A. Thorpe School, Falconer School and finally as a Case Manager at the Northside Learning Center; and
WHEREAS, The leaders of this great City of Chicago are cognizant of the great debt owed our Special Education Case Managers; and
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this eighth day of June, 2011, do hereby express our gratitude and heartiest congratulations to Laura Malczewski as she retires and we extend to this fine citizen our very best wishes for continuing success and fulfillment; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Laura Malczewski.
