Clarissa Michelle Mills started her career on IS1' of November, 1991, and served as a City ofChicago Police O/Iiccrin the Harrison and Kcd/Jc, 11"' District, lor live years. OUicer Mills later served in Austin, Lf District, for live years and then went to the School Patrol Unit. Officer Mills was later detailed to Unit 543, die Office of die Mayor in November of2007, and
Wheredls, Officer Mills provided security and dignitary protection to our city's elected officials under three administrations, Mayor Richard M. Daley, Mayor Rahm Emmanuel and Mayor Lori E Lightfoot; she has earned the respect of this great body and the respect from the people she has worked with; and
Whereas, Throughout her career, Officer Mills has brought her strong interpersonal skills, her innate gift for conffict management and conflict solution, her unsurpassed knowledge of security issues and an unwavering professionalism and commitment lo upholding ediicaJ standard of conffict; and
Whereas, Over the course of her stellar 29-year career, Officer Mills has sened the city with true commitment and dedication. Officer Clarissa Michelle Mills will now take this opportunity to reflect on her years of service and spend more time to care for her parents Clarence and Helen. She will continue her 40 year love of shopping stating, she has never met a store that she didn 't like.
