RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Mary Rita O'Brien-Puffer to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Mary Rita O'Brien-Puffer nee Green age 75. Beloved wife of the late Robert O'Brien and the late Charles Puffer. Loving mother of Mary Rita (Kevin) Bergunder, Robert (Suzanne) O'Brien, James O'Brien and Rita (Paul) Rybski. Step mother of Bruce, Michael, Charles, Kimberly and Mary Beth Puffer. Devoted grandmother of Tim O'Brien, Katrina Bergunder, Jesse (Jessica) Bergunder, Jessica (Nate) Johnston, Robert O'Brien, Cody Bergunder, Haley O'Brien, Daniel Rybski and Emily Rybski. Cherished great grandmother of 4. Dear sister of Kathleen (Bruce) Gyrion, Carol (late Dave) Kopala, Robert (Cathy) Green and the late James Green. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mary Rita O'Brien-Puffer leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-second day of February, 2017, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Mary Rita O'Brien-Puffer and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Mary Rita O'Brien-Puffer.
