RESOLUTION

WHEREAS; we, the members of the City Council ofthe City of Chicago, wish to extend our most warmest wishes to Nellie Edwards on her 97th Birthday Celebration; and,

WHEREAS, on behalf ofthe entire 16^lh Ward, Alderman Stephanie D. Coleman would like to encourage Nellie Edwards to expect the best, let love rule, embrace the day, and celebrate another year; and,

WHEREAS, Nellie Edwards has continued to be an abundance of wisdom, and we value, all the gems and treasure you have bestowed here in the 16^th Ward; and

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered this 18^th day of January 2023; do hereby celebrate Nellie Edwards' 97th birthday; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Nellie Edwards as token of appreciation and blessed wishes.
