WHEREAS, Richard Herrrera has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward^ arid
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Richard Herrera; Beloved husband of the late Ann nee Hacek; loving father of Pamela (late James) Cirello, Sharon (Nelson) Santiago, Patti (Leonard) Casa, Susan (Kenneth) Koronkowski, Dennis, Richard (Lynette), Michael, late Manuel, late Donna and the late Frank; cherished grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of many; devoted son of the late Manuel and Delphine; dear brother of Virginia Gomez, Frederico-(Maria), late Manuel (Jane) and the late Josephine Vasquez; fond.brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend of many; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Richard Herrera to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twelfth day of December 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Richard Herrera and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family ofRichard Herrera.
