MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR LOTTIE RZEWSKI
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that members of this Chamber learned of the death of Lottie Rzewski at the age of 97on Wednesday, March 1, 2017; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of her passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39lh Ward; and
WHEREAS, Born on August 13,1919, Lottie was the beloved wife of the late Norbert; loving mother of Lawrence (Beverly); dear aunt of Phyllis (Bill) Reinert, Rita (late Patrick) Moore, Daniel and Robert (Priscilla) Zadlo; great aunt and treasured friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Lottie leaves a legacy of faith, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Lottie was the former President of the Merrimac Park Seniors, a proud member of the DePaul University Geographic Society and the St. Cornelius Ladies Guild. Lottie touched the lives of all who knew her through her love and spirit. She will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and member of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-ninth day of March, 2017, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Lottie Rzewski and express to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
