MEMORIAL RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Charles J. Hunt, born on August 13, 1925, was called by God to his eternal reward on November 7, 2012, at the age of 87; and

WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Charles J. Hunt was an active and vital member of his community. The loving husband of the late Mildred; dear step-father of Dorothy (the late Albert) Orr and the late Joan Busch; cherished grandfather and cousin of many, Charles leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and

WHEREAS, Charles will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,

Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this twelfth day of December 2012, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Charles J. Hunt and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Charles J. Hunt.
